At the 2nd General Meeting, participants reviewed the council’s activity report and elected the chair institution for the 2026 academic year. In addition, participating universities introduced exemplary achievements and best practices created through collaboration among universities, industries, and research institutes.

During the subsequent session on next year’s implementation plan, key initiatives were presented, including: △ expansion of community-industry–academia–research-linked curricula △ strengthening joint research and technology commercialization △ cultivating talented human resources tailored to regional strategic industries △ enhancing the effectiveness of council operations. The meeting also addressed the division of roles and cooperative structures among participating institutions to generate tangible collaborative outcomes.

In his opening remarks, Lee Changho, Director of the Office of Research and Business Strategy and Planning at Korea University Sejong Campus, stated, “We hope SeSanHyup will serve as the central hub of the community-industry–academia–research cooperation ecosystem and develop practical collaboration models in areas such as joint research, human resource development, and technology commercialization.
